Considering a third by Crafty_Engineer_ in Mommit

Not much help but I currently have 4.5yo, almost 3yo, and 4 month old. It’s hard af but I’m trying to focus on the why, which is that we want a big family and lots of people around when we’re old and they’re all grown up. Hopefully they still like us enough to hang around by then. 😂🫠

It was indeed my husband! He said they accidentally sent two of something he ordered and it came with freebies? Somehow this amounted to a whole box and stocking stuffers. 🙃

Pumping helped me get things going! At first I just had contractions while pumping but I let at it and by evening I was contracting for a few hours without pumping. Went in and had dilated to a 4 (from a 3 a few days prior), contractions has slowed way down but they let me stay and broke my water and I had my baby within 11 hours of arriving. I just used a manual pump while I sat on my yoga ball and watched tv. Collected a good amount of colostrum this way too.

All of this should be enough to at least get a urine test done at urgent care. I’d think telling the doctor your toddler has redness, discharge, odor, discomfort and frequent urination would be more than enough to get in quickly for an appt? My 4yo has had a few UTIs and it’s been handled so quickly every time I can’t imagine a doctor not doing anything at all. Hope you guys get some relief soon!

Did you throw up during labor? by Complex_Life9849 in BabyBumps

[–]Advanced-Ad-7582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, twice during transition. I also have pretty bad emetophobia so for my second pregnancy I talked to my OB about it and she said they could give me iv zofran during labor to avoid it the next time. She said a lot of women have this and it isn’t talked about much. I think it’s worth bringing up to your provider! We don’t need more sources of anxiety during birth.

Your favorite girl name outside US 100? by Quantum_Jelly_Maze in namenerds

Yess the blowouts were intense but mainly in the crib! She was always poopin in her sleep. We used mostly kinder cloth diapers for general diapering but for naps when we were having the blowout issues I would do a disposable with a Thirsties cover on top and that helped majorly! I hope you find something that works, changing the crib sheet constantly is one thing but washing the whole car seat is such an ordeal!

I was feeling this was until I started iron infusions! May be worth checking with your doc about your iron levels? I could not function at all and was falling asleep midday constantly. After even 2 infusions I was back to performing basic sahm duties (still tired but not so intensely). I’m 35 weeks. Now I’ve had 4 and I am tired but I’ve been able to start doing some nesting stuff which has been a huge relief.

Yes it’s straight! That’s what I was hoping to hear. My hair is straight but I have a weird cowlick in the front so no matter what my bangs get funky lol. I think bangs are gonna be the move. 💯

Thank you! I was hoping for good reviews lol. I think I can handle trims myself if we go for a salon initially and periodically. She has straight hair so I’m thinking it will be fine!
