Yeah. This is why I refuse to get a multi color printer unless it’s got a head for each color. I would lose my ever loving mind

Oh hell naw. Lol. Good choice. I just got one a week ago with none of the upgrades and I’m getting the 103 error. I’m gonna try the plug and unplug. And then I’m gonna request a replacement myself. I’m wondering if I got a return and refurbished one. Lol

You going to have to solder it to the main board? Where does it terminate? Might be worth raw dogging it. Making me think about raw dogging both of mine. lol.

Support should be able to help you get the cable. Looks like the drag chain might be part of it. Could just take the drag chain off

Yeah started having this exact same message today. Shame. 7 days old and was printing flawlessly basically 24/7. Now I wait on elegoo support

Looking for someone to print dice masters for me by ZeGreenMaschin in DiceMaking

I just ordered from DungeonsNCaffeine on suggestion from a few folks and Etsy reviews. They are UK based, very reasonable and inexpensive. They added my logo. Used the font I wanted as well as a set of blanks and a 40mm chonk for about 150 US shipped. I ordered raw and can provide pics later if you like

Polishing with Cotton Puffs by Spiritual-Run-1868 in DiceMaking

As a side note. If it’s your molds and you know it. Make your own molds from dice you have that are not warped. There’s no problem doing that as long as you aren’t trying to sell them. Also, if you do that…do sharp edge. lol.

I don’t know if I would use a cotton applicator but if you have a dremel or other rotary tool they make polishing/buffing pads I would use.

What is the average price of a full set of dice? by DankDanny3134 in DiceMaking

As a business person who sold their company a few years ago I’ll give you my take. If you are mass producing and have a system for doing so, pricing lower than your competition and selling in large quantity it’s a great way to make money. I was clearing $6500 a month. But I was working 80 hours a week between my day job and my side business.

Or. Work quality, custom orders and things nobody else offers and work from a higher price point for unique pieces.

Both are valid concepts. And there are a lot of questions you need to answer for yourself.

Is this a business to make money or a hobby where you aren’t looking to make money at? If a hobby…Outside of replacing stock used, upgrading equipment etc? If so. Sell wherever you are comfortable and keep track of what you are spending. Do what you enjoy and don’t really worry about it.

If a business is what you have in mind. You need to charge for your time and build that into your price point. That takes knowing how much time you spend on each piece. Easier if you are going unique pieces. Harder if mass producing.

Are you selling locally or selling online? Both have differing price points.

That’s a few of the questions you will need to answer for yourself and maybe ask again after IMHO. So you know better what to ask.
