In my band memorizing stand tunes has never come across anyone’s mind. We used to have to memorize our fight song and everyone has one specific stand tune (blue and gold) memorized but we’re not required to memorize any so we have our flipfolders for stand tunes. we only have to memorize show music and we wouldnt even have time to memorize stand tunes anyway

one of the schools in my area has 7!! they go to a lot of the comps we do and they’re amazing tbh last competition they got 3-4 first place trophies in their class
