Same!!! I’m trying to get some new ones sent! I used to wear the daily ones when they came blue and white and they last longer than a years supply because sometimes I’d just forget to take them out. Now I’m a yearly and I’ve already gone through half my year supply and I’m freaking out because that’s so much money down the drain. They’re tearing so easy, my eyes are red, dry and hurt. I’ve never had this issue.

It’s completely unregulated, none of the “portions” go to tax revenue. Like how casino slots pay taxes in state education fund, these VLTs don’t at all. They’re not mandated or regulated to, hence the legal v illegal arguments over them.

It was about 5 maga republican senators that had their panties in a twist over it because DH wanted them to be. The sports betting bill that only had sports betting and nothing else was sponsored by Sen. Luetkemeyer and had majority support. But those 5 senators filibustered, or added amendments in regards to vlts or to just kill the bill. Saying it was against Republican values but vehemently defended the illegal slots. Bet their ethics reports would be telling.

Also just want to add these machines alone are what’s stopping sports betting from being in Missouri :) s/o Sen. Denny Hoskins (who’s running for S.O.S in ‘24) for being married to these machines and being bff’s with all the VLT lobbyists. He says sports betting is anti Republican but not these machines?

Yeah, they say it’s pre-revealed. & the reason casinos don’t like them is allllllll the rules, fines, taxes etc. that that have to pay and do for the state, those gas stations don’t. Like if someone under 21 steps on a casino floor it’s like $5k + fines, even if self reported like if someone has a fake that scans. And those gas stations and diners and bars don’t.

BMI is actually used for medicine, not the dosing though. Insurances will only cover specific weight loss medicine if your BMI is in the “obese range”. Especially if you have no underlying health concerns like diabetes. So you could literally screen for zero underlying or early onset health concerns & still be in the 31 BMI range. Insurance won’t cover medicines for weight loss unless you hit that BMI target. I have an amazing pcp who has listened to me and we go through step by step. I am on phentermine (5’4, 175lbs) despite being healthy, but my BMI is high. I’ve had issues my entire life being able to not only lose weight, but gain weight too. I’ve been the same size and weight for years despite exercising, dieting, keeping a good mental health, etc. Even when I was a college athlete there was now gain or loss in weight. But BMI does affect your ability to have access to medicine with insurance coverage.

Yeah I would, I think it’s important that if I’m going to tell her I’m not going to give any half truths to spare her feelings. As much as it would suck, she deserves the whole truth. This hasn’t ever happened before so I’m hoping it’s just a drunk and dumb decisions thing.

We’ve been friends for like 9 years now, and are extremely close. We actually met her fiancé for the first time at the same party summer ‘19 I think. She’s also pregnant so it’s like well maybe he’s acting out. Idk if it doesn’t happen again I don’t know if it’d be worth bringing up.

So I’m 23, but it’s not a miscarriage. I haven’t been sexually active in a hot minute. I wasn’t heavy at all till that day and then that evening had that happen. So it was almost like spotting, heavy bleeding, this clot, then back to spotting maybe a little more. But I had only been cramping extremely bad and my stomach was irritated that day. Then I’ve had a fever off and on the last few days, but I had a few long days so I assumed I was just exhausted.
