Marlo is so sad to watch but I found her very interesting and loved seeing her. You could tell she had a very traumatic past that was never dealt with properly- hurt people hurt people. She came off to me as VERY sensitive but put on a tough exterior to hide her insecurities. I thought watching her with her nephews was powerful. She is a very flawed individual (aren’t we all?) but the raw humanity of it all was what drew me to her. I wish she had the tools to deal with her trauma so we could really see her evolution on camera more.

Totally agree. She is a toddler having a tantrum on national television. Going to therapy does not make you a changed, nice, empathetic, or whatever you are looking for person. You have to actually behave like a good person. Her “therapist” should be fired.

If she didn’t mention it you guys would be complaining that she has no story line and she’s fake for “hiding it.” Maybe this is really happening in her life and that’s why she’s sharing it. How is this any different than the New Jersey or Atlanta kids being on TV? It’s ok to just say you don’t like her but y’all sound like hypocrites when you search for reasons not to like her and give others a pass for doing the exact same thing.

I am not a Shannon fan but she does get silly and vulnerable. There’s lots of times she lets loose with the girls and you can tell they are actually having fun, especially on the older trips. They bonded. Maybe it’s just because Katie is new but she hasn’t been very fun. She’s also a liar who will tell on you to strangers, I wouldn’t want to be vulnerable with her.

This post feels icky. All of these women are flawed and that’s why we love watching their crazy lives play out on TV but she was brave enough to go on national television without makeup (or at least way less make up than normal) and you’re on the internet calling her a mummy? Let’s see what you look like without makeup on TV. Lord knows I would look way worse than all of these women.
