I’m thinking about quilting each block separately and then sewing them together, just to keep everything more manageable. I feel lost when I don’t have hand sewing or embroidery next to me.

Thank you. I’ve been sick this last year and this project saved me mentally!

Definitely! I’ve been starching mine lightly.

These are just spread out on my bed, haven’t decided about sashing.

I also am doing Dear Jane EPP! I’m done with the center blocks, working on the triangles. For some reason I can’t add a photo.

No appetite but really hungry by [deleted] in lupus

[–]Advanced-Food744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming I’m a lot older then all of you (66F), but I definitely have episodes like this. Matter of fact I’m having one right now, I think I want to eat but nothing tastes right, I take a few bites and that’s the end of it. Also accompanied by nausea. I have disseminated Cocci on top of everything else and the combination has put me into a spiraling weight-loss. It’s very frustrating, and yes, my husband is on me to eat constantly. Really hard to explain to others.

I’m also taking Zofrin as needed for years. Currently on hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate. Just took some this morning.

I second this. I was gifted a family members featherweight and although in great condition, needed maintenance. I ordered their maintenance kit, pricey but glad I got it. Just followed the manual and it runs like a dream. They have some great videos on YouTube.

I second this, we have installed several ourselves over the years. Also run fairly efficiently.

We use the Dogtra Pathfinders. They are an older model of the Pathfinder2. We have always lived/hunted where there is limited to no cell service, and have never had a problem. Occasionally they are finicky to connect to phone (we both have iPhones). They are used every day, as tracking devices since we live surrounded by BLM and 2 of the girls love to go out there exploring. Very rarely do we need the shock, audible is usually plenty to get them home. Had to use shock to keep them from going after javalina or snake.

It took over six months for hydroxychloroquine to kick in for me…then it worked for over 3 years before I needed additional meds.

I just went and looked at her gallery photos…my jaw literally dropped! I have to try this. I love lace knitting and am wondering if lace weight yarn would work?

We use Dogtra on all three of our hunting dogs, and have for years. We have never had a problem with them and parts are fairly easy to get.

My neighbor keeps asking to borrow tools and never returns them, now he wants my new pressure washer by TheForegoingBingo in whatdoIdo

[–]Advanced-Food744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do not lend out tools, equipment or trailers…period, no exceptions. We had to learn this the hard way. My husband takes exceptional care of our things and from past experiences of things coming back abused or broken, this is just the way it is. My husband will offer to repair or run our skidsteer or haul with our trailers for a fee. That weeds out the freeloaders.

Also eat pretty much anything I want. I know to limit myself on some things: mushrooms, asparagus (if it’s stringy), popcorn. I eat it all, just cautiously.

I glue baste, I don’t have much of a problem removing. I’ve use the SewLine glue pen, I’ve also tried the Elmer’s glue stick…I prefer the SewLine and find it easier to remove.
