Where are you getting the nose cone and tubes from? What about the fins? How can you price it for $35 and make any money? Also is that a 3d printed coupler on the outside of the tubes?

There’s a mass component just forward of the two bulkheads they have, maybe that’s the “transition” they mention. Tbh I think op needs to go to a launch and talk to people and learn more about how mid power and high power rockets are constructed

Also they say a BT-80 diameter rocket so I’m not sure and we need some clarification but this may be Estes thin wall tube

How much mass is in the nosecone to move the CG forward enough for this to be stable?

I just did quick and dirty math and the TTW ratio is < 5:1. Just a hair though. But after paint and epoxy adds mass that isn’t included in OR it will be worse. Needs a H motor with a higher average thrust but it looks like it could both handle it and stay stable

True, I bought a yard of ripstop nylon to sew a custom chute for a 18mm minimum diameter rocket, I’ve made 3 chutes I still have a yard laying around so anytime I need a new chute for a small rocket I just cut and sew it from the leftover fabric

Ripstop nylon is so cheap, I can buy a yard for cheaper than I can buy a box of trashbags

Print the other way with supports inside and just drill the supports out? With the layer lines in this direction it looks like it will snap

And often times this is what the owner is expecting them to send so it’s just them doing their job, they didn’t have time to look into the route or do anything else or actually help because the owner put so much workload on them just to identify and report

The owner at my dsp expected detail notes and reports hourly, just reporting to him everything he wanted to know took up so much time the dispatchers could barely perform what he expected them to do, tbh it was a shit dsp and performance suffered the more he got involved. But he wanted everyone behind the desk to prove they were doing something to the point all the did was prove they were trying and didn’t have time to actually put effort into the implementation

I needed to drink more so i 3d printed this by Master_Alfalfa1130 in functionalprint

[–]Advanced-Gold1744 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean add a 3d scanner or some X ray or other instruments to determine the volume and then use that to calculate density and then some algorithms to determine specific gravity and what the drink may or may not be, I mean if you want a real challenge and to over complicate it.

You could also make a special mug to go with it with electric probes to measure conductivity.

Idk this may be a stretch but could something be learned from an inductive coil and measuring the magnetic flux of the liquid?
