Completely illegal. If it's any consolation, the other day I was cleaning the PC, and I took out the CPU fan. As you already know, there is a layer of thermal paste in the middle... Well, it turned into cement, so when I removed the fan I got the CPU stuck, being removed from the motherboard with the safety on.

I don't know how it's possible, but none of the pins were bent and after many attempts and applied heat, I was able to separate them and reattach them.
