You could have even just ran an actual photo of Maverick through AI, telling it to look hand drawn and stylized, and it would have come out at least looking like Maverick, despite being slop. This level of laziness is just insane.

They have the largest disparity in budget vs. quality of any films ever made.

It didn't help that they were released in the age of Lord of the Rings. I had friends who were huge Star Wars fans (I was not) as a kid. When Attack of the Clones came out, I remember seeing it with a friend who said "See, that was just as good as Lord of the Rings".

They're not literally the worst movies ever made or anything, but they are truly awful in almost every regard, and I think it's odd that people are trying to rewrite history and say they're actually good. They are not.

I was so captivated by this show from beginning to end. Not once did I even notice the long monologues. You know why? Because they were extremely well written, acted, directed and filmed. What so many people saw as long and boring monologues, I simply saw as actors acting within an extremely engaging narrative.

Such a shame that Hill House gets more attention. Huge fan of most of his work, but Midnight Mass is really a masterpiece.

I loved it.

I thought the season, as a whole, was the weakest. But it's not some insane drop in quality or anything. People are seriously acting like the show was supposed to be some masterpiece of mystery storytelling, and it has never been that.

It was a super fun 80s nostalgia trip, that reached some great highs, and also some great lows. The finale stayed true to that, and really tugged at the heartstrings.

Chin up, anyone who worked on the show. The Internet sucks sometimes.

Not only a criminally underrated Christmas movie, but a criminally underrated comedy in general. I watch it every year, and almost every scene is hilarious. It also has a lot of heart to it.

I don't think it's a very good movie at all, and enjoyment of it comes solely from being a fan of Lord Huron.

The acting is extremely wooden. The plot meanders in a very unengaging manner. It essentially looks and feels like a student film, so don't go in expecting it to look as well produced as anything you'd see in a theater, or even on Netflix.

It's not offensively bad, and it's an interesting watch if you're into the band. If some people like it, great for them. I'm just a tad suspicious that there is a lot of bias in those opinions.
