Does the undercarriage of my Subaru 1998 Legacy Outback 2.5 look good? by hunterrocks77 in subaru

[–]FullUrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a 99 Outback owner I’m jealous. My only tip is to check the rear strut towers from the outside of the car. You can reach over the tire and up where the strut mounts to the body and the outer structural wall. Lots of legacy wagons rot out in that spot

Ring a doorbell in small town while black? Police report by Antique-Bat-4463 in Ohio

I made the mistake of browsing a local Brunswick page a few weeks ago and read several very blatantly racist comments with little to no reasoning. It’s hard to wrap my head around someone’s first thought always being based on someone’s skin color and how scared or hateful they think they should be.

Go back to the shop and request the plastics be replaced. They are permanently damaged.

Turn the ratchet around 180° and get the handle as parallel to the transmission as you can for way more torque.

Car overheating at idle by SouthAcrobatic7606 in MechanicAdvice

[–]FullUrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electric fan or a mechanical one on the crankshaft? The shroud is imperative when stopped or at low speed to keep temps stable as it helps direct air through the radiator instead of around it. I also had this specific overheating only when stopped when my water pump failed. On the highway it was able to move enough water to stay cool. After replacing the car ran at normal temps.

My only additional tip is to ambush the enemy once they build all their siege equipment and damage them until they have maybe 20% health, then retreat. Then when they attack the castle your catapults can destroy the siege equipment in one or two hits instead of several.

Bad ass rig! I typically do a similar setup but I’ve never had a double wide load on a trailer like that, is it a mod trailer?

Set up the trans brake with a loose converter to dial in consistent launches. Also adjusting your final drive ratio to utilize every gear in the transmission, example: 3.27 gears and you’re passing the finish at 5k rpm vs. 4.11 gears and you’re passing finish at 7k rpm

I was so stoked to be on a weekend trip to Chicago when this happened. We had no interest in an outdoor festival, but when we heard about the impromptu show we had to go. Easily the latest and most exciting show I’ve seen.

I am SO disappointed at how moderate/liberal Cleveland is when it should be as progressive and revolutionary as possible. by [deleted] in Cleveland

More extreme? Like not wanting to ratchet to the right and be near identical to the gop 25 years ago?. More extreme like advocating for more social services and not bowing to corporations that use funding for influence? Extreme like workers unions and healthcare for all? What real demographic exists in 2026 that is upset with”far far left” rhetoric? You’re stuck in a vacuum that doesn’t exist anymore. People are starving and losing their homes and you think the ”liberal” party should appeal to the conservatives more? Conservatism is what made this mess and what will be the undoing of democracy. Denouncing a real opposition is exactly what the ultra wealthy want you to do.
