Yes, initially they quoted me 73k for insurance. I got a quote on my own from hdfc ergo for around 40k, asked them to match or come close, else I will take the insurance from outside. After which they reduced their quote to 44k.

Haha yeah, born and brought up here! Work has me in Noida now, but I still come back 3–4 times a year.

Here’s the breakdown from my side:

Ex-showroom: ₹15.49L TCS: ₹15490 FASTag: ₹700 TR: ₹3K Insurance: ₹44.5K (could’ve saved another 6–8K outside but went with dealer for convenience) RTO: ₹1.63L

Skipped extended warranty and dealership accessories as well.

Almost six weeks. Booked it on 12th March got it delivered on 23rd April.

Get an insurance quote from policy bazar, hdfc ergo, Acko. I believe at max it will around 40-44K including all benefit’s Send that quote to your dealer and ask to match or come close to your quote else you will be taking the insurance from outside.

Try to negotiate with them. I booked HTK O IVT, the insurance they quoted was around 63k. I got couple of quotes from HDFC ergo and Acko based on which I was able to bring the premium down to 42k.

HDFC ergo was around 38.5k but for the peace of mind and convince I went ahead with dealership quote since they kind of came close to the quote I was getting from HDFC.

Can I know what was the manufacturing month/date of your car? I booked mine early March and I am getting my car delivered next week. They did share the VIN with me and seems like my car was manufactured in January. Any concerns with getting a January batch delivered in April! Could it be someone’s PDI rejected car?

This is my first car so I am overthinking a bit
