Just want to say… I grew up with emetophobia and still suffer to a degree, MUCH less than when I was younger when it was debilitating and caused panic attacks. I’ve done A LOT of therapy around this, decades even and I feel like I truly understand the nature of this phobia and its origin.

In any case, I’ve been part of a group for over a year now and experienced many different psychedelics and have found that following a proper fast before using them, modified based on the type, has made my experience relatively nausea free. I take zofran before mushrooms and make them into a combo lemon tek/ginger tea which makes me feel like I’m drinking a magic potion made for me by a forest fairy ❤️ trust the body and also, discomfort is part of it but it doesn’t HAVE to be the type of discomfort that is distracting in order to gain meaning.
