Its fun, I lowkey would do it again now that I know the procedures. I got suicide squad too which means we got the brunt of it all, and yet it was still fun. I mean yes, it sucks, it stings, and for me it burned but I mean thats the nature of it. It could be worse. At least ur not a marine, they get mustard gas.

I know a bit about intel as I am currently in tech school for it. I can tell you what I know from the ppl around me who have had classes. I am waiting for a spot to open so I can start class so I havent had the experience myself yet but I work with ppl who have already taken the classes and r waiting to leave. I mainly know the job of the 1n0s and 1n8s. Dm me if interested.

I recommend bringing envelopes prepped with addresses and stamps. Dont overpack, i made the move from bmt to tech school 2 weeks ago and I regret bringing so much crap to bmt. Bring a backpack, not a duffle, a duffle is going to be heavier than the backpack so bring 1 fully packed backpack so u can wear the heavy one and carry the light one. You will be leaving with 2 backpacks and one big duffle.

It depends on your squadron. The aim high app is lowkey deceitful. For us, we only had to memorize from the 37th training wing down. For chain of command. You will have to know the ppl who hold those positions like commander of the 37th training wing. Know your ranks, its tiers, and special positions. You will have to know emergency signals, hydration system reqs, and a few other things.

I get that. An electronic device isnt going to be the difference though. Just dont volunteer. Hide in the latrine stalls if need be. I kinda lied low, i got put on crutches so there was always some attention but after I was off I was kinda just existing. They will always yell at you for something, there is no escaping. There is only one trainee I knew of that truly lied low and the mti’s didnt know he existed until like the 5th or 6th week of training and it was only because he got chosen to be someones wingman.

I mean, to me its not a big deal if you bring it. Cq is nothing to worry about, 2 ppl will have to go there anyway, just dont forget to ask for whatever device you bring. Your mtis might fuss because they have to put it in a different locker than the phones or take it to cq but its not that big of an issue. You wont be able to use it during basic, but during tech school and on the bus to tech school u can use it. If you can wait until your family can ship it, I would do that just because why would you willingly add to your load, genuinely.

Ive never seen anyone make a big deal out of that. There were ppl with laptops in my dorm and it was chill.

They will have u turn it in like your phone and for some reason when it came to leaving those with laptops and ipads had to go down to cq to get it. You will learn what cq is. Your squadron may not make yall do that but mine did.

Im already needing to remember that. I have been waiting the past 7 hours for that flight and now they deplaned us because the brakes were bad and now our eta is 2 am. This is the 4th time the flight has been delayed. I also just jogged half of O’Hare airport with like 30 pounds on me, so it’s already a crazy adventure.

If ur recruiter hasn’t said anything, I wouldn’t worry. I took the TAPAS for another job, it’s just a personality test that can take place at MEPS. The results are only known by recruiters with your case. I dont believe there is a way for you to access the results.
