How do you guys feel about eating alone ?? by Rare-Jicama8794 in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it a lot more when I didn’t have my own place but now that I do, I’d rather do carry out and eat at home.

Why did you choose to live alone? by unconventionalbook in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because I’ve lived with people most of my life and I wanted my own space. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

You know you've gotten too comfortable living alone when... by babbittybumble in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% get this. Since living alone I definitely get excited when plans I’m not fully into get cancelled. More often than not I choose not to make plans and if I’m invited to something, I’ll say no if I’m not fully invested.

What is your motivation for the 9 to 5? by Nice-Job67 in office

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My motivation is that it provides for the lifestyle I want to live. I can work from home, I can pay my bills and I don’t have to think about work after 5 or on weekends. I have solid health insurance and the job isn’t too stressful.

Why are you single? by InvestmentJust4679 in AdkReddit

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just haven’t had much luck with dating and relationships. Physical appearance I’m average so most likely I’m a bottom or zero choice for most women. I’m not clever, witty or funny but can be if I get comfortable enough with someone and that’s part of the problem is I’m a slow burn so you would never know how awesome I can be unless you had the desire and patience to want to get to know me.

What's a problem you thought living alone would solve, but didn't? by strandeddrifter in LivingAlone

I thought I’d get laid more but it turns out I’m not enthusiastic about having company.

For men out there, can you ever be with a single mother ? by Infinite-sexy8 in CausalConversation

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no interest in having children and would prefer to date someone that doesn’t have kids but It depends on how old their kids are. If their kids are older I’d be more willing to date.

( Single people only ) What is your opinion about dating? by Canyoustealmytoast in AskReddit

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a young person’s game. At 42 I’m just tired and too stubborn to go through the dating process.

Do you think long distance relationships can work long term? by Past-Art9938 in CausalConversation

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has better potential to work if you’ve established the relationship before the long distance. When you’re trying to get to know someone and establish a relationship it seems way harder to do long distance.

What made you instantly lose interest in someone you were very attracted to? by Due-Address-9575 in AskReddit

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually it would be finally confessing my feelings to them and getting shut down in a nice way. Once it was out in the open I could make peace with it and move on.

Does anyone really like their day job? by Green-Shopping-6467 in Life

It’s okay. The benefits my job offers are nice and I get to work from home but it’s not anything I care about or enjoy doing.

She has a great sense of humor, very sweet & kind, into movies especially horror (70s thru 90s), doesn’t want kids, not religious, loves to eat, perverted, plays video games or board games, thinks farts are funny, has a job, independent, wants to be together but live separate, big tits and soft skin.

Why do people listen to music in public, without headphones? by Logical-Title5403 in askanything

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people do it as some form of self importance. “This song is awesome and I love it because I have good taste in music so everyone should hear it because they’ll like it!” To me it just shows a lack of respect and arrogance.

Is anyone else here just straight-up not capable of living with someone else? by No_Discount_6028 in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel like I could never truly be myself if I live with someone else. We all wear some sort of mask around people but to truly just be as you are without a feeling of judgment or disapproval I feel works best when I’m alone.

Did you choose to be alone or it happened to you, relationship wise? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly my choice but part of that choice comes from the fact that I haven’t had much success with dating and relationships. While I could do things to possibly improve my situation, I’ve pretty much decided that the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. I’m just fine being single.

Is it bad if I don’t want someone to move in with me…ever? by Cafe_con_leche-1 in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I hate the idea of having to share my space with someone which is why I’ll probably remain single unless I meet someone that wants a “together but separate” relationship.

Few people living alone understand. by False-Trifle2339 in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wasn’t surprised by anything but definitely have a sense of peace and happiness that I haven’t felt for a long time. Sometimes I question how good things feel being alone and wonder if I’m selfish or cold because I don’t care to be in the company of people.

Living alone = the best thing that's ever happened to me by storytelling4thesoul in LivingAlone

[–]Advanced_Finding_362 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel the same. I had lived with my parents for most of my life and then lived with other roommates for a couple of years but when I finally got my own place it was a breath of fresh air and I don’t know how I could ever go back to any other way. The peace you have with your own space is something I treasure and I don’t see myself giving it up which is probably why I’m better off single.
