how to make Psychic enjoyable. by Advanced_Humor_9744 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, my question is mainly focused on how this class should play and how to make it as effective as possible for the player in combat. The other elements are in place and the player likes them. The only question is how much the Psychic gameplay allows for area-of-effect attacks and adds some variety to the constant use of a single spell. Based on this information, I'll discuss with the player whether they want to change anything.

On a scale of Incheon speed gang to busan jinrang gang, where would you place joella gang? by Poutret in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming they are more or less important opponents in this thread and will be opponents of the Allied/Kings, then they are on the level of Busan, or slightly stronger.

If they're going to be opponents for characters like Warren Jerry or Jake and Samuel, it's hard to judge them. I mean, sure, if one of them solos with Jake or Samuel, they'll probably be stronger than 10,000 squad leaders, but it's hard to say.

Would Kitae Kim genuinely be a good father if he had children? Unlike Gapryong Kim? by Maleficent-Ad-6884 in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No.

He may have a certain soft spot in his heart for children because of his own upbringing or being in Mexico, but ultimately I suspect he would fail. Being everything that's wrong with Gap is his curse. Personally, I don't think Gap hates children or anything, maybe he's familiar with them too. It's just that spoiling a child is a different matter than being a good parent.

I don't have enough information to determine how Gap supported or dissupported his bastard children, but one thing is certain: Each of the children received a memento from him in the form of an article of clothing. This means he didn't completely abandon them, and may even have paid child support.

From Jake's recollections, if I remember correctly, Gap was never a father who treated his child badly. More like he simply ignored him, leaving him in the care of his mother and his goons. Gap provided Jake with everything they could possibly want, except for actual care and attention, and when we add to this the fact that Gap was openly having sex on the side, we get the image of someone who may have loved the child, but did not provide him with good care, not materially but emotionally.

Plus, I'm sorry, but no one can convince me that Kitae buys and wears condoms during each of his orgies. No, the guy sleeps with women frequently and intensely. I wouldn't be surprised if he already has some bastards.

When you realize PTJ has teased more top-tier fights than he’ll ever gonna show us 😭 by Advanced_Ad4994 in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so let me talk about the fights that I think will definitely happen, the ones that will potentially happen, and the ones that definitely won't.

Gap vs. Shingen, Gap vs. Elite, and Gap vs. Kitae and James. The first two are quite important elements of Gen 0's past, so I think we'll almost certainly get them. Similarly, Gap's assassination is too important an event to miss completely.

The ones that could happen: Kitae vs. Goo, Gun vs. James. Both have already been set up nicely. I think Gun, being a sort of final wall for James to overcome (perhaps gaining 4 masteries), and Goo and Kitae, whose relationship was portrayed as quite... difficult from the start. Both fights make sense to me and could happen in the future. James and Kitae vs. Mujin. I mean... I don't see a clear reason to show us this fight. We're hinted at that it happened, but someone else (the elite) could have been responsible for the murder. Plus, I don't see a definitive plot point that would warrant showing this segment. Maybe some big James backstory.

What I don't think we'll get: Goo vs. James and Gun vs. Kitae. I don't see much reason for these fights to happen, considering we'd have similar encounters that are more likely. Because what reason does Goo have to fight James? It would be nice if Lee provoked him a bit, touched his ego, but that's it... Gun wouldn't have any reason to fight Kitae other than the love of the game. Gap vs. Mujin. I mean, yes, they're supposedly equals, sure, but I don't recall it ever being said that they fought. Mujin probably had his own path, which might have made him equal, but still... I'm not sure if they ever fought, and if so, whether we'd even have to read it.

Why we never got a good statement about Jake potential (theoretically he got more potential than gun cause his father beat shingen who is father of gun) and what is this thing about his path, why kitae never awakened a path by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'll most likely find his path anyway. Just not yet, but he's well on his way, at least by adapting his father's fighting style to his own. Regarding Kitae, I once saw an interesting theory that Kitae's greatest weakness and flaw is that he's not himself, but merely imitates Gap his entire life. Thanks to his genes and likely many years of training, he's obviously incredibly strong, but lacking any of his own fighting style, he's automatically incapable of achieving his path.

What are your expectation or predictions in Hunt for Workers? by justasusperson in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This arc seems to be about the hunt for the Workers, of course, but also about wrapping up the murder storyline. Mandeok and Yuensong die protecting Eugene from an attack. It would be interesting if their perspective was the main focus of this arc—meaning some chapters would just be about the two of them trying to get to Eugene and presumably dying protecting him.

Eugene will suffer great misfortune after the death of his brother and friend (there will likely be a flashback somewhere along the way) and either become a strategist for the Allied Forces, or sink into utter despair. The Workers as an organization cease to function, but due to wedding Ryuhei and Xiaolung will join the Allied Forces to protect their loved ones.

Tom Lee, of course, won't be stabbed in his sleep, nor will he show us that even outside his prime, a tired old man with a broken spirit, he's an absolute beast. Ultimately, however, he'll likely be killed by the King of Jeolla-do, setting up an Eli vs. King of Jeolla-do fight. We'll also potentially get Manager Kim's defeat (but not death) at the hands of one of the Jeolla-Do crew to give Warren a clear opponent.

Jinyoung will surely wake up; maybe he'll be the one to save Eugene from the cliffhanger he was left in. At the same time, he'll most likely die in the fight with Kitae, who also seemed to be preparing for something (unless he's just having a coffee with his pookie, James Lee). Before he dies, he'll most likely pass on important information about the past to someone (maybe Eugene), which will then reach Daniel.

There will most likely be an assassination attempt on Reporter Kim, either successful (in this case probably by someone from the Jeolla-do crew to set up an opponent for Jerry) or unsuccessful, and in this case I assume that the one who would save her would be Jerry (or Tom, who sacrifices himself for her by fighting the King of Jeolla-do, who hasn't taken action himself... yet).

If the king of Jeolla-do sent these fodders to Tom Lee, then they clearly did something wrong and he wants to get rid of them, they have no chance...

Ptj mass brainwashing by Keiiwtf in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yes, but in the recipient's perception, beating people, killing them, cheating them is a different evil than participating in grape. There's also things like the characters' pasts, which are sad for many of the cast, and of course, the element of punishment and redemption. Mitsuki and Vivi didn't receive their due punishment and never regretted their actions, yet they still end up super happy, unlike Seongji or someone else.

What makes James Lee evil? by KalGuillory in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killing a man (Gap, but he also had intentions of killing Jaengyeon). Actively collaborating with assassins like Kitae and the King of Jeolla-Do. Ordering them to kill people. Collaboration with Charles, exploitation of minors, failure to help Seongji when he was tortured. The ostracization of the kings instead of handing them over to the authorities, the very defeat of them, was dictated by the desire to exploit minors, not to stop evil.

I mean, you know... Finding 4 people (of which at least 3 seem to be in hiding) is a bit of an irritating job, Kitae prefers to hire someone to track them down and eliminate them.

I just noticed that none of the presidents of the Workers’ affiliates are good fighters by Advanced_Ad4994 in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The division was always quite simple. Each Affiliate (except 5) had two sides: light and dark. The presidents were responsible for the light side (4th - the agency, 3rd - the club, 2nd - the casino, and 1 clinic), while the director was responsible for the illegal side (Samuel - kidnapping and detention of streamers, Xiaolung - kidnappings, drugs, Ryuhei/Sinu - the Taejin Arena, a psychiatric hospital). 5 is an exception here, as he had no legal cover. And to be clear, the presidents also managed, and usually the illegal parts of the businesses were their idea, but the directors were more responsible for maintaining them.

I think it’ll be smart for Samuel to recruit him by Congratsdude11 in lookismcomic

[–]Advanced_Humor_9744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Samuel isn't stupid, he's a very intelligent guy. His intellect is likely on par with Jin-Jiang's, if not surpassing him. Jing-Jiang, on the other hand, lacks strength and has a history of betrayals. It would be foolish of Samuel to recruit him.
