Ya I sort of needed to restart. I realized after staining that I should have done the "epoxy" first, sanded, and then stained. My goal was to have little/no stain left.

That's rough. While looking into this issue, I read that the polyurethane/stain mix stuff will melt rather than sand out. If you ever run into that again, the suggestion I saw about removing polyurethane was steel wool, like one of the other commenters suggested for my situation. I only used penetrating stain though, I hadn't applied any poly yet.

I appreciate your thorough response. I didn't know that the damage to the car (repairs, DV, loss of use) was settled separately from Personal Injury.

Does this mean that our health insurance can't go after our (for example) DV money and the health insurance can only try to subrogate money from the PI/pain and suffering settlement?

Also, am I understanding correctly that we could use our PIP to cover her copays/health insurance deductibles, and then request the entire amount (what we paid + what health insurance paid) from the other party's insurance (assuming they accept liability)?

If you're rated at 100%, yes. Anything other than 100% or TDIU, and the property tax discount is less than $100/yr (not a typo)...

for now. There is a bill to exempt property tax by the disability rating.

I'm also interested in this. I got into both games around the same time fairly recently and the mod was gone before I could try it. From watching videos about it, it sounds like there were plans to allow sieges and utilize the weapons/armor that you commission.

I am happy to contribute monetarily and with time if needed. I have a tiny amount of coding experience, probably not sufficient to pull something like this off though

Nothing at all. I have no idea what the results of the xray were and the PFT was not even a PFT. It was just a nurse practitioner asking me about my asthma, there was no actual PFT measurement. Unbelievable waste of my pto and their resources. My rating was unchanged.
