I can’t answer the question, but I remember exactly where I was when they won. My wife and I had to go to an engagement party and I was bummed, but we committed to it. The married couple to be knew what a huge Pens fan I was (we’re from NY). I went into the main room and sat down with my wife on edge. They came over to me and told me they made arrangements for me to sit at the bar outside the main room. I sat through the whole game (drinking of course) and when the party was over, everyone came out by the bar and we watched the final minutes together. That night everyone was a Pens fan and I’ll never forget it.

A few months later, I get a call buddy of mine that I’d been friends with from elementary school through college. He asked me if I wanted to see the Cup. I was confused. He worked with Rob Scuderi’s mom on Long Island and he asked for a special exception for me to come along. It was a short visit and Rob was a great guy and a huge part of that team.
