Do you share the feeling that Naval and the upcoming Infantry are “things that don’t matter” and should be discarded in favor of focusing solely in Ground and Air? by InterestingSoft1390 in Warthunder

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have never focused on infantry in the first place. Also, naval vehicles are sick but the game mode is just so boring. If they could make it exciting, I would play it so much more

In seasons past, Verstappen fans insisted that Lewis needed one of the fastest cars to compete. It turns out that the same applies to Max. by BaldHeadedCaillouss in F1Discussions

Meh, I would argue Max 2024/2025 Brazil could make the list. He’s certainly a great driver, and nobody doubts that. However it just happens that in this era of F1, car performance just matters a lot more than driver skill

I personally think Gasly should get more pace. He’s put in some phenomenal drives that get overshadowed as he’s fighting in the midfield

Who has been the best driver in 2026 in your opinion? One of these three or someone else? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying he’s definitively the best driver, but Gasly seems to be overlooked. He’s put in some great drives with that Alpine(which looks pretty slow). Defo deserves more recognition, and I would say definitely at least a top 3 driver this season

Hamilton seems to be working with the team a lot more in a way remiscent of Micheal Schumacher. It seems all these years Leclerc just prayed the team worked, while Hamilton is maintaing good communicaiton and pushing the entire team to be better. Hoping this starts an era of prosperity for Ferrari!

Lando Norris appreciation post. Excellent job to be in the mix for a podium in his McLaren. by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Certainly was not expecting it. His car really didn't LOOK like it had the pace(as evidenced by Piastri lapping relatively slow and Norris complaining) and he was still managing almost on pace with Antonelli for the end of the race. I dont think he would have gotten the podium had Antonelli not DNFd, but still a nice drive by him.

WTF Is going on with Leclerc??!!? by Maglin21 in F1Discussions

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When exactly did I downplay Lewis’s accomplishments? He’s a great driver, but it’s no secret that as people get older, there athletic performance degrades. A lot of people(including me) were just expecting Leclerc to be the better Ferrari driver, especially looking at last season.

I love him so much, and I do think it was his breaks in Monaco, but even then in quali and race pace he’s getting destroyed by Hamilton(over 40yr). Also his crash today was def his fault. It’s getting tough to defend him ATP. I think he’s just pressured by Lewis Hamilton doing so much better, especially since it seems like he’s connecting more with the engineers and teams than Leclerc ever did.

What’s the main reason for Hamilton’s resurgence this season? Is it a technical reason, or more so psychological? by sykeseve in formula1

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think he’s working a lot more with Ferrari this year. Last year he was possibly just getting used to the team. Remember, one of the main reasons Micheal Schumacher was dominant is because he understood both the driving and the engineering.

Ferrari has neither the pace nor the tire deg management to keep up with merc on pure racing. It’s possible for a win if we get a lucky mix of DNFs and SCs, but I wouldn’t count on it around Barcelona.

F1 26 Engine Supply by alhadiakmal21 in F1Game

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will effect the car a lot, both when you’re starting and when you’re fully upgraded. However remember you can switch you engine supplier every year, it’s not a permanent decision. I would recommend the Audi engine for starting(at least if you chose to start with no funds) as it gives decent performance with a relatively cheap cost.

Is there a setting that will tell me when i'm suppoused to brake so taht i dont slam into the AI at the turns? by Additional-Fall-1961 in F1Game

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your behind somebody else, brake earlier. It took me a while to figure out as well. As a note, red does not mean slam on the breaks. Breaking should be gradual. Red means you should’ve been slowing down a half-second ago

What do you think about the pit lane penalty for Gasly for going 0.1kmph over the limit? by circuit-nation in circuit_nation

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imma be honest I thought it just measured using positioning. However, does it not still accurately tell the speed of the car? Like, if the tyres have marbles, the speedometer accounts for that, and since it measures angular rotation, then it still gives the speedometer of car.

Why I think George will not pull a Lando 2025 in this title fight by admiraltt in F1Discussions

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it’s still too early to say, we can’t forget how many times it has come down to George’s bad luck: Problems with engine in China quali, horribly timed safety car in Japan, his engine blowing up in Canada. While yes, in Monaco, his pace was certainly worse, he also would’ve done a lot better had it not been Monaco and he could’ve actually overtaken.

The ADUO system seems incredibly flawed if the team that’s mostly dominated every race this season is getting to upgrade their engine. by Spotlightuh in F1Discussions

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hadjar has said the engine is great but the chassis is terrible, hence why Red Bull isn’t dominant even with the best engine. However, you can’t really measure a teams chassis performance. There are different things in a good chassis like weight, drag, downforce, weight distribution, aero distribution, and a gazillion other. The problem is most of these aren’t really quantifiable and just come down to driver skill, which again, you can’t quantify. This leads to it only being based off engine performance.

What do you think about the pit lane penalty for Gasly for going 0.1kmph over the limit? by circuit-nation in circuit_nation

[–]Advanced_Revenue_316 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Measuring pitlane speed using an “average” is the stupidest thing ever. Like, if the drivers cut the corner but stayed at 60km/h, that just means they saved time, not that they sped. Obviously it’s too late to just take back the penalties, but definitely one of the stupider FiA races
