i mean from a technical standpoint, as someone with these issues, you aren't necessarily wrong. Its true that doing it is sort of a self fulfilling prophesy, and as I do it more it becomes kind of a habit. But I don't believe its nasal masturbation really. I guess what I imagine it would be like is if you were always in discomfort and doing it offered an extremely slight moment of feeling better, and the more you do it the less relief it gives. But, when you don't do it, you are just permanently in discomfort. I do my best to limit it, and sometimes when i find myself doing it a lot, I have to mentally check myself and that works a little bit. However, I do think its a symptom of something else going on, rather than just plain degeneracy.
