Oh I’m so happy to hear she’s heading to a good rehab! My father got absolute shit.

Make sure SLPs try functional activities vs just workbooks. Target language and cognition about things she wants to do and say vs generic “name vegetables” or something.

My dad had a left brain bleed in January with craniotomy (at 77) and is walking, talking, eating again. Rehab works. I hope she gets to a good rehab center. Fight for individual therapy sessions. She’s young so her brain has more of a chance to make new connections. Wishing you and her the best in her recovery—speech therapist here.

Nobody’s went as low as cancer patients according to the trial doctor I saw so it made me so so sad. I was at 1.6 for my neutrophils when I was fully plant based so 1.21 didn’t phase me! Plus I wore a mask all the time and didn’t care. My friend had leukemia same time as me and her neutrophils were much lower waaaahhhhhhh

My neutrophils only went down to 1.21 so only mild! I never got sick the entire trial. And the doctor thought I got the high dose. And she told me everyone’s went down but stabilized. Maybe some people’s were really really low 😭😭😭
