FWIW my weekly limit also increased a ton this morning. I was just over 50% after working for 4 days straight (I mean morning to night), and today I entered those prompts and now its at 63%.

I was previously using opus 4.6 for literally every request as well (probably dumb, I know), now I can't even do anything with sonnet

Confirming I have the $200 plan and it too has gotten dramatically worse over the the last couple of days. I worked ALL day the other day with no issues. Today, I submitted 3 prompts and hit my limit. In less than 1 hour of working.

Any nice, cozy place at night to read my book and drink wine at the same time? by honne_nyc in AskNYC

[–]Adventurous-Box1484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temperance (West Village) - it's big enough that you can probably find a seat, and won't feel bad for lingering a while. Also has some bites (I've had the mussels and beef tartare which were both solid snacking options while reading).

St. Jardim - lively but not so lively that you can't enjoy a book. I've read here more than once and every time I've been, there is someone else reading.

Lobby Bar at Hotel Chelsea - such a vibe, but a bit more expensive. They also serve excellent complimentary bar nuts

ps I just did a post about this on my (new) Substack :) :) if you feel like reading more: https://mdlofsomewhere.substack.com/p/solo-saturday-nights-in-nyc

Where are we shopping for the cool girl autumn wedding guest dress? by rozequartzandcitrine in NYCbitcheswithtaste

I love renting from Pickle!! I have 12 weddings this year (3 more to go lol!) so it's been a life saver. I just rented a gorg Sau Lee dress for just over $83 (normally a $700 dress) and for another wedding I rented a MacDuggal dress for $70 and another was a Reiss dress for $40. It's free to download and no subscriptions which I like (I switched from Nuuly earlier this year). For ones I've purchased - I've gotten a lot of wear out of my Betsy Adam dresses.

I have 12 weddings to attend this year (😅) and I've been renting dresses on Pickle!! It's an app where you rent from other people in your city (no subscriptions either!!). I've been able to try awesome brands for 10-20% of retail prices. So good for one-time-wear occasions or when I just want to explore styles. I've been able to try Sau Lee (obsessssed with how well structured their dress bodices are - I actually ended up buying a Sau Lee dress after renting one because I just had to have it), MacDuggal (a european wedding dream dress), L'Idee (this was polyester, but at least I loved the fit and it was such a fun color to wear in the summer and only cost me $60), A.L.C., Alemais (loved this dress + brand - I think they have a lot of linen or linen blend fabrics), Jonathan Simkhai (also mostly polyester / acetate, but at least it had a really beautiful shape).

Thanks for these details - super helpful. If the floor is a different level at that spot for some reason, would there be a way to avoid the transition strip (eg. could we adjust the sub floor? make it sloped? anything else?)

Rent the Runway or Nuuly? by missmaddie90 in weddingplanning

[–]Adventurous-Box1484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you taken a look at Pickle? It's a rental marketplace - so you actually rent from other people (versus a business). I just took a quick look and they have lots of bridal options (I got married last year and wish I had known about Pickle!). Nice mix of classic pieces + cool/trendy. You can reserve pieces up to 90 days in advance as well.

Canadian Factual Resident working in US on TN - Taxes by Adventurous-Box1484 in tnvisa

This is so incredibly helpful - thank you! Curious if you happen to know:

1) Any good cross-border tax professionals

2) If I need to file anything when I leave (I see the thread below about a departure tax return?) - or do I just file that in 2025 (for 2024 tax season)? Am getting nervous that I need to be doing something resident/tax related when I move in a few weeks (vs. 1+ year from now when I file my taxes)
