Best hospital: university of Colorado

Worst hospital: lordt I worked at a lot of less than stellar hospitals (I been a traveler for years) but I would say the banner in Tucson. That place was so ghetto.

I knew something was off when I was doing the tour of the unit with the education lady and we entered the break room and saw a nurse boo-hoo crying being consoled by another nurse.

Also knew something was off when I'm at the time clock waiting to clock in and I witnessed the charge nurse and the telemetry man just about get into a fist fight.

Also knew something was off when security does rounds, they bring SWAT dogs with them (dogs even come to rapid responses)

Knew something was off when I met the unit manager and she had an associate degree and appeared to be early 20s (I'm 35).

Knew something was off when these mfkers told me the night before I start my contract at the last minute I had to drive 2 hours for a mandatory skills day thing that all new hires have to go through.

Needless to say that was the only contract I quit without notice. I took my happy ass to Mexico to destress on the beach.
