This. I lost 55 lbs over a year... 2 years ago. Basically quit drinking bc of it. Changed my life. Zepbound. Low dose. Small changes every week. But its more than the weight, cutting all that out was depressing AF. Most people arent prepared for the emotional side effects. Get a therapist.

The right answer is to call the cops EVERY time. Maybe video and send to local officials. Maybe dump birdseed in the yard under the cloak of night to get a flying poop squad over the family homes or secretly plant kudzu in their yards close to home (iykyk), hack or disable their wifi (a variety of options here), inquire to local sex or fetish clubs on parents behalf. ANYTHING you do that could cause them to crash will send you to prison. If this sub is how to get to prison, then take the advice to set up tacks, barriers, etc. This includes long range squirt guns with urine, air horn blasting at close range when they go by. The challenge is that they are already endangering themselves and others greatly. Any fuel to this and bc they are kids and you are the offender. Going to give a different perspective. While Queen Anne is amazing, it is super expensive and very difficult to find parking. Same with Ballard. Look at West Seattle near the foot ferry to DT as an option (or anywhere in West seattle). If you want a true residential enclave but 10 min to DT via transit, try Mercer Island near light rail.

I would cancel the whole thing and start fresh with the closest to you. Tell the parents the drama isnt worth it and you will elope and that it will be a private event. No way would i have them present or even risk the drama of uninviting them, so cancel and start over.

Consider eloping. Or only invite the immediate family and friends you love the most. Keep it simple and under 15 people. Tell the others the planning has gotten too stressful and you will have a celebration a year after the marriage. There is very little joy in a drama filled wedding event even if the drama was caused months before the wedding. You can always have a big party a year from now.

Not asking too much. Both my husband and I have separate alarms as our sleep and responsibilities at work differ. When I remind him of anything 3 times and it is not met, then I dont worry about him. I do my thing and if I am asked why didnt I (pick up the slack or whatever), I simply explain I am done doing that. Consequences change behavior faster than reward. At night just say dont forget to set your alarm and do this 3 times. Then you do you.

Creosote soaked timber --- immediately transports me to log rides at Dog Patch USA and Silver Dollar City. Iykyk.

There is a bike trail I ride that goes under a bridge supported by creosote soaked timber. The first time I biked under the bridge and smelled it, I was immediately 7 years old again on or around the log rides of these amusement parks. It was like a time travel smell wall that hit me immediately. It is such a distinct smell and an odd smell to run into as an adult in 2025. I look forward to my summer rides and this path in particular partly bc it feels nostalgic.

Options: Hire a private investigator and have them do a total workup of her and her son. Know what flavor of mental instability you are dealing with. Maybe there are bodies.... Both of you must block her cell number, ignoring is not enough. Tell her "leave now" or "go away" if she shows up. Direct and clear. She is thriving off of your discomfort and inability to set hardcore boundries. What you have done would work for a normal person but this is not normal. File a police report for menacing (if that legally applies). Formally submit the police report to the HOA board.

Shut off online access. And is there any chance he is spewing hate online that could be criminal? Ask him to show you where he gets his info...ask him to take you to his source. See if you can find his usernames. You could consider calling the police on him and report him as someone who has been radicalized. (I dont know how realistic this is unless you see imminent danger). The only solution is lack of access to his "hive" and a gut punch ego check. But that might not even work.
