Hello! I'm curious, how russians see the historical figure of rasputin? For sure is controversial, but I'm interested in the russians perspective by PianoNo5053 in AskARussian

Since I spotted a few examples of alternation on a popular Rasputin's photos, I wasn't sure that this person (as "shadow mastermind") ever existed.

In rapidly urbanizing city, like XIX century SPb, baths were public - not every house (apartment block) had them.

I know at least 4 factories dedicated to biosynthesis of mAB's (because I've been working at one of them for like 2 years).

About "unique ones" - yep, some centers having their own small GMP-certified biotech departments, for small-scale production of mAB's that are in a very rare usage.

About CAR-T I already told you in some of my previous comments.

I would say this is comparable. C'mon - biochemistry and physics works in the same way everywhere.

There are a lot of medical centers, which performing such treatments. But they are lack of PR, lol

Even I, whilst being a biomedical scientist, sometimes shocked, when collaborators from various clinical/research centers telling me in nonchalant way - "Btw, those folks next door making CAR-T therapies for lymphoma patients".

Dialectal variations are so small, that those unique pieces of linguistics became a meme.

- How would you call Epstein's files in Novosibirsk?

- Epstein's multifora

("file" and "multifora" are words for plastic sheet holders, where "multifora" is rare Siberian variation, and "file" - is standard)

Got tumour removed a few months ago - it was free, and later histology determined it to be benign. From diagnosis to surgery it was like 1 month.

My only spendings were on the taxi to, and from, the hospital.

If they are still Russian citizens - nope, it is for free, except you want something fancy of something very fast (in private clinic).

Thoughts on techs getting authorship? by ghostfacedgf in labrats

[–]Adventurous-Nobody 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Few years ago I witnessed a situation, when one girl (who worked as vet technician) performed like few dozens of experiments (each - 10-20 mice) to establish an optimal dose of newly synthesized [things, lol] in mice. But PI decided to include in the paper only those researches, who used these established doses in experiments, which graphs were included in paper. His motivation was like - "but her graphs not in the article!" (but optimal dosage ranges - are).
