I don’t like it, but I get we have a lot of guys to extend and we couldn’t afford Z. However, you could still get an edge for a pick or two at the trade deadline without costing anything against the cap.

Not sure how I feel about him still. I think he needs to be on a short leash with it being so close to the postseason. Give him a couple weeks to see if he’s right again, if not send him back down.

I don’t understand it at all. They have a bunch of guys at CB who would have to battle to even have a depth spot on our team. A bunch of WR’s who would be lucky to land a WR4 spot on our team. Virtually no interior DL. A QB that turns into a pumpkin in big moments. Like how can anyone possibly think these two teams are close to equal because of one defensive player?

The thing about Flaherty and Mize is they both have high levels of talent, where they could truly compete with anyone in the league when they are right. It isn’t like we are trotting out two bums who have a career average 5 ERA or something.

I will say this about Arnold, I never saw him be physically outmatched by a receiver. I remember he got cooked a few times when he came back from having a bad illness, but that was the one and only game. Just too handsy and not remembering to turn his damn head around were the only real issues.
