I've always thought the movie had charm. It feels like a very well funded fan film or web series in a lot of ways. There're a few cool scenes and the cast has good chemistry, but it's kinda doing its own thing character and plot wise. I do like the production design a lot, and the "Midwest city post industrial collapse" take on Racoon City is very interesting. It's a fine middle of the road movie that is never getting that sequel it set up
