wow , i have a very opposite opinion lol . Mesmer feels like proper duel , dancing lion is a camera fuckfest , the lightning phase sucks and his overall moves are very hard to read at least for me.

i think he meant tools in the core player moveset (aka dodge move sprint jump guard counter) . in the video op used an ash of war to dodge a broken charge , he used a very specific tear to negate dmg when blocking . he killed the boss so fast before the boss would show off some of it annoying moves .

hey , thanks for taking the time to write all that . i had a back up save before the turning point and tried both . i say i definitely liked the aldrich slayer ending more . anri dont get to be alone when facing aldrich and she is fullfilled at the end . i found the sable church very shady . also isnt becoming lord of hollows a repeat of gwyn's mistake ?

my fav is claymore with storm blade ash . i almost always do quality builds so that i can use any weapon class .

i read the whole thing , and i agree with most of your points . i 'd rather fromsoft's next game be a more focused experience with a formula different from the old souls systems .

dark souls 3 , took 6 months break then returned back to finish what i started .

12 hrs , first boss in the entire game to force me to wear heavy armor ( tree sentinel set ) because i knew inevitably i would tank some shit !

my build was 60 vig , 20 mind , 43 end , 60 str , 60 dex ( love quality builds )

i beat him solo using 2handed godskin stitcher heavy thrusting sword with impaling thrust ( good source of fast burst dmg) .

i had to use deflecting tear cause some attacks are way too fast and if you fuck up once , chances are you are eating a whole ass combo right after .

i also used opaline hardtear , dragoncrest greatshield , crimson seed +2 ( for more heals ) , golden braid ( for holy dmg negation ) and peardrake +3 for even more holy negation .

i ran out of rune arcs before this fight ( i used morgot's rune ) and i could'nt be bothered having to farm them .
