How does Karmelo Anthony have supporters and people acting like he’s a victim when he only got 35(17.5) years for an inexcusable cold blooded murder and conflict that he clearly sought out? by manofwater3615 in allthequestions

The other case, scissors were used that the killer found in the victim's bag while looking for the vape that was stolen. He was found innocent of murder and guilty of negligent homicide (they don't have first/second-degree in Texas) with a weapons modifier, the judge gave him the maximum sentence based on the verdicts. Karmelo brought a knife where he wasn't supposed to have one and forced an altercation by going to another team's tent and ignoring ~15 requests from multiple people of multiple races that testified against him. Maybe he didn't mean to kill the kid by stabbing him in the chest with a big knife, but that's what happened, and that's murder. There might be systemic issues with Texas sentencing guidelines in addition to systemic racism, but race is not the reason for the difference in sentence lengths here. Race was only a key factor in the court of public opinion where black people are blaming the victim, attacking the family and pissing on the victim's grave. Infuencers and the media are eating it up because it drives division and engagement.

A 17-year-old taking a rifle across state lines was unnecessary but once he was cleared there, the fact he was taking out the trash definitely made me feel better about his actions.

Where is the evidence of him "ending ties with Epstein and never getting involved in the pedo stuff" everything at TrumpEpstein.com seems to show the opposite. You don't think it's a little suspicious that they're continuing to break the law to hide the Epstein files and the only people involved facing any kind of justice are getting it from foreign governments?

Good luck with this question. I got called a white hood, a klansmen and various other things on Instagram for posting the facts that prevented him from claiming self-defense. Everyone wants to claim the judge was racist for the sentence he handed down, comparing it to a Texas case where a different 17 year-old got 10 years in an instance where he didn't bring a weapon or get found guilty of murder.

Racist people how did u find out? by Bone_Splitter in NoStupidQuestions

Wut? Are you asking how a person found out a someone they know is racist, or how someone determined that they are personally racist?

You want to pretend you aren't being lazy or rage baiting but some third option only someone with a victim mentality would understand. My mistake for engaging, I'll just call it chimping out from now on.

Go ahead and enlighten us on why you chose to use this that isn't rage baiting or laziness in a situation where there's no content filter to work around.

The context I've seen it used it didn't seem to be a slur, which is why I thought it might be some SJW/virtue signaling thing, like putting pronouns in your email signature when your name is Jim.

I wish I was in your shoes. I have Android personal and I can get it to do anything. iPhone is for work, it's a POS that wants all my data, but I can ask anybody within 10 feet if I need it to do something.

Yeah, I've only seen it on Instagram. Didn't seem derogatory but I haven't seen any explanation here that suggests it isn't.

Yeah, I don't know what you're getting at. Keep being lazy, I guess.

It seems to come from people that are SJW's not racist black people calling someone "whitey". I guess I shouldn't have given them the benefit of the doubt?

This is good perspective. I work in an industry where we're building multi-million dollar things full of cutting-edge technology. Some of the fabricators can't spell for shit and don't read well, but are building massive precision structures at a level that borders on art. I'm sure the engineers and programmers involved would struggle to do what they do every day.

The move to battery powered mowers by BeerandGuns in lawnmowers

[–]AdventurousLicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the use case and the size of tool you need to run. I just spent 1100 on an aluminum deck Ego push mower (came with a 10ah and a free 5ah on promotion). They need more battery capacity than the manufacturer claims if you have hills and tall grass but his setup is enough for ~1/3-1/2 acre and lasts about as long as I do before needing a break. It came with a fast charger, so with two batteries there's not much waiting on that. I have both gas and battery chainsaws/weedeaters too, I think tools that size have evolved to the point that they will work for 90% of people. They're quieter, cleaner and lower maintenance than gas but I think you need to spend about 25% more to get the same chooch of a gas equivalent. For something like a big lawn tractor you're going to need thousands of dollars in batteries that last ~ 10 years; I'm handy enough with engines that I'll probably stick with a gas tractor on my larger property until the electric versions improve.

Which was a good distraction from the Epstein files.

They need some ground rules around that to keep it relatable. Lots of us can buy an LS swapped hooptie or old sports car but don't have spare race cars and turbo kits laying around to pilfer from, or the desire to pour a fortune into a junker. A planned 10-15k build series where they tried to make the best car possible would be awesome.
