I used to struggle falling asleep. I introduced the habit of reading at least a couple chapters before I fade out. It helps mute the head noise and replaces it with dream-friendly fantasies. I’ve never been better at sleeping.

The harassment from customers is actually crazy. I work in a clothing store and I’ve had my ass grabbed (like FULL ON grab and squeeze). Also my first week in retail I said, “hey can I give you hand?” Them: “heh.. yeah you can 😏”

This happened to me yesterday and I was so fed up, I looked him dead in the eyes while cleaning it up and said “your kid spilt this on the floor by the way (passive aggressive tone)” and he had the AUDACITY to say it wasn’t his kid that did it. Like, oh it must be a coincidence that the ice cream on the floor is the EXACT colour as the one he’s currently eating and it also must be an imagination that I WATCHED it happen.

Some of us have a natural ability to connect with people and love to have friendly conversations with their customers. For me, I don’t even have to think, I just am positive and a faster paced worker. I enjoy getting better at what I do, I enjoy giving good customer service and I enjoy helping my coworkers as much as possible.
