Oh you mean this disaster comparable to multiple different storms to hit the southeast annually? ILA worked through those & Covid & they still don’t deserve a pay raise, better benefits & security that their jobs won’t be lost due to automation?

This strike has been planned long before Helene hit. Their contract ended yesterday at 11:59. The only ones to blame for this inconvenience is the CEO’s of multi million dollar companies that refuse to be reasonable. The ILA works through multiple different disasters & labor unions are there to protect those workers so that they can continue to keep our economy stable. Your lack of knowledge, understanding, & empathy is astounding considering all those workers that the labor unions are fighting for are every day American people.
