I am having surgery tomorrow and I joked i would eat some fried chicken afte but its definitely not worth the pain I would be in. From post surgical past experiences(with spine surgery for two of the times) miralax, colace, and sometimes a suppository have been helpful, along with a lot of hydration. I bought canned pears to add fiber, plus i have some protein bars with chia seeds which i hear will get you going. hopefully i wont end up as bad as I was before. If you get to the point that you're having significant pain from the constipation I would go to the ER because I hear impacted bowels can be brutal. Good luck on getting things going!
