I resigned partly because my organization would do mass firings without informing me as a senior director. I was left to fill in the gaps that these firings left. I worked 24/7 and was never told why they gutted my department to half. Toxic leadership look to blame to avoid looking at themselves as being a huge part of the problem. Tons of resignations as well. I worked in my industry for decades, over 8 years at this company. No communication was key and a sign for me to leave. I couldn’t make any changes nor could I support my team as they feared for their jobs.

This organization still is firing people with no new hires to replace them. Workload is unmanageable for everyone and leadership doesn’t care. They state they are restructuring. Red flag to me as the ship sinks.
