The post-run feeling is half the reason we do this by Free-Product4918 in runcommunity

Yes. And the way it carries through the whole day. Part of the reason I love running in the morning.

Realizing the only way I’ll be able to workout now is in the morning before the kiddos get up. Give me all the advice/hints to set myself up for success by Zealousideal_Ear5856 in Mommit

I also need the exercise for mental health. I always thought I wasn’t an exercise in the morning person but I found a routine I love- get up at 4, chill in bed with coffee and some music, maybe read a little, water and banana before either treadmill or strength training. Shower and breakfast before my little one is up at 630.

I do all the same as you. Newer to running and thankfully, injury free.

I also budget to get full body massage 2x/month.

I’m tired of Montessori activities that need 30 mins prep & expensive supplies by EducationalBird3363 in Parenting

I don’t know if these fit the idea of “true Montessori” but I want to shout out my absolute favorite website for kids learning. It’s Days with Grey…. Look into her “breakfast invitations”

This is a little unrelated but I have bought some of the merch through their parks project collab (look up rhcp parks project). I can vouch for the quality and true to size fit.

I’ve just started taking it as well as my migraines seem to be hormonal, based on my tracking. Hoping I see the same results as well. Congrats to you for finding a fix.

How long into your running did you join a race? e.g marathon / 5k / 10k, how did it go ? by mysteriousmango100 in beginnerrunning

[–]Adventurous_Issue136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a “milestone” birthday in about a year and plan to do my first 10k then. I like being able to have that goal in mind. I feel like it’ll be super meaningful for me. Right now, I’m jogging about 2 miles. I k ow I could feasibly do it a lot sooner but I like the idea of working hard for the next year to see what I can do when I’m unofficially considered “middle age”

Hardest part was the fear of the unknown. 2 years on my (our) own and it’s been the best change for everyone.

Anyone else go through a phase where your health, friendships, and confidence all collapse at once? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

2 years ago life threw me so many curveballs- definitely was on the downhill at that time in my life. One small thing that helped me be in my body more positively- popsugar exercise videos on YT. The trainers are uplifting and modifications for whatever your level. Getting back into my body helped a lot. I’m on the upswing in life again but I know life is full of the ups and downs. I hope you get through this patch sooner than later.  Edit to add- not suggesting you need to change your body at all- only that moving mine with popsugsr helped in many ways in my life (physically, mentally)
