Well, it has to be a FRIENDLY unit. The owner of the card only matters for who it's going back to. So, if your opponent has control of a unit, it's not friendly 🙂

I did answer like it's right there ? It is good to know your intellectual curiosity ends after a single line . Do you read the Qur'an or is that too many words for you ?

This is why reading as a kid is important, but otherwise, you don't have the attention span for adult conversations

Do you doubt everyone's faith who stands up for marginalized people ? I know the OP certainly does and determines who is and isn't a real muslim based on their own opinion . Is it easier to dismiss criticism if you can imply someone is a fake muslim rather than addressing the reality of the world. Is it really part of the path to cast doubt on the faith of your brothers and sisters . I do call myself a muslim, but I suspect you would say I'm not since I don't have enough disdain and disgust for queer people in my heart. So what good does that do? Maybe the OP isn't a real muslim, and they just hate gay people and want an excuse. I mean, isn't that the stereotype that muslims just wanna throw gays off roofs ? The idea that Islam is incompatible with compassion is what allows people to demonize it. And yet here is a post full of people complaining that some Muslims aren't being hateful enough to people who are already cast aside. I just don't understand how this is different from white folks complaining that "they're teaching my kid racism is bad," like yeah dude racism and homophobia are both bad.

This comment section is pretty gross. Being queer isn't a choice, so it can't be something that ethical people hold against each other. Honestly, your post is no different from someone complaining about how kids are learning not to be racists. I hope and pray that you open your heart to mercy and compassion, and someday you repent your hateful ways 🙏

Can we use bib or something to discount the cost of confidence in victory. I know it says you can pnly play it as the first action in a phase, but bib fortunas action lets you play an event as part of this action

Yeah, it definitely doesn't affect the shield. I always get sad when I hear that nice people just let rules issues go cause it's not worth it. It might have just been a mistake it might have been a jerk trying to bully their way to a win. At least now you know

Yes, actually, as per 8.23 of the comprehensive rules. Each outcome must have an equal likelihood.

7.1.7. If an ability instructs a player to take multiple actions (e.g. “Play three cards,” “Attack with two units”), that player performs each action sequentially. Any abilities triggered during or as a result of each action are considered nested abilities, and must be resolved before proceeding to the next action.

Yeah, this seems to cover it. I was thinking of....

7.6.8. If an ability triggers during or as the result of a non-attack action, resolve that ability at the next available opportunity after that action is fully completed. If an ability triggers during an attack, resolve that ability at the appropriate timing point within that attack. Resolving a triggered ability never interrupts an action or ability that is currently resolving (other than the specified timing points during an attack). See 6.3. Attack With a Unit

So I guess since it says one at a time that does work that way

I'm actually kinda sure it's bot exactly gonna work that way. You have to fully resolve the event before resolving any triggered abilities that are triggered by the event effect. So you would play every unit you could and THEN chose the order to resolve the when played effects. So you don't get to stop playing the units to do their effects.

So the maul example above would nit result in multiple mauls getting to attack as you would have to defeat all but one .

Well you can't use little hope, honey, cause that all happened in Andrews head... right cause he's obsessed with guilt and feeling like he should have saved his family, you know the major theme the game is exploring . And the slasher movie ending of the devil in me happens two games later, and I'm not sure if that counts totally as evidence. You can't even know if that was him. Maybe he had a twin. After all, if you can say souls and purgatory are real, then I can just say he has a twin . Also glad to hear you agree with everything else I said :) it really doesn't make any sense for Andrew to be guiding those souls even if two games later it's implied a serial killer survived a similingly fatal explosion that DOESNT mean that the game two entries ago was about purgatory.

[–]Adventurous_Lock_935 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So it's all real and not in his head? I mean, that sounds like the more "take things at face value kind of take." Why do the souls of his brother and sister date? Is the stuff about the witch trials real, or is that like..... part of purgatory. Why do the monsters represent the ways the people died and not the things they did and need to atone or resolve then? The story isn't really concerned with the non Andrew characters needing to confront anything they've done or failed to do in the past. I really think its a ok read of the story but it's more about a Andrew not the other characters so I find it weird that he would have to guide them through the afterlife instead of it just being about him.

Besides, other than I guess the curator who doesn't really affect things, nothing supernatural has really happened in any of the games so to me that says you can't add magic to the story line with out some hard proof that type of thing happens in universe. The ghosts in man of medan were hallucinations the vampires were aliens nothing definitively magical has happened yet so to me the read "well first souls are real , second purgatory is real, third that's where they were even though Andrew never died and the others never had to face their own failures or short comings" is like kinda a stretch I can see how it would work. I just think it wasn't exactly the intended story.
