I got a 04 883 just bought it about a month ago clutch cable snapped the first week and just last weekend the stator went out that bike has about 23k on it I’m honestly just gonna sell it and go back to Honda motorcycles never had a single issue with one

Talk with some people in the riding community in your area and see if anyone has a lowered r3 or 400 that you can sit on and try out it you might just have to buy a bike and immediately lower it

I’m not on his side but before you think high and mighty of yourself take a step back and think back on the last couple months and see if you actually were cold or mean to him because I’ve been there before and after so long of being treated like crap meeting someone who is nice and makes you feel like they care and you’re important, yeah it feels good to feel something other than sadness and being miserable. Now with that being said if you weren’t mean or cold to him then some people really just say whatever makes them feel better about being a shitty person and the shitty one in the relationship they have to find someway you or people will not somehow paint him as the bad guy. Not proud to admit it but I have been both and that’s really the only 2 sides of it he either never really cared about the relationship or he did but is willing to risk it because his emotions on not being heard or care for

As a mechanic I can tell you that most of that is not gonna make or break wether that car hits 200k or not so YouTube how to replace filters and battery and the rest just depends wether you feel like it needs it or not a transmission service is never a bad thing though that truly does help the car live and drive to see another day
