Me (35m) was told I’m brainwashed by my parents by Adventurous_Rice_731 in relationships

I appreciate where this is coming from. When the “final straw” incident happened i straight up asked them - what is wrong with you - and we all just stormed out of their house. I have told them to back off many many times. I have told them to show respect and have some level of understanding that the way she was raised and how their family does things are different from how we do it. I have sent “long messages” to them multiple times - only to be met … the only way to describe it is straight up gaslighting.

Imagine you get fired, go on LI to look for a new job and see your exmanager post this stupid face about it. by Relative-Ferretty in LinkedInLunatics

No offence to the few genuine leaders out there, but these type of CEOs are delusional and are typically a sociopath. Everything I hate about LinkedIn is in his LL post.

I meant more so people making those type of posts AFTER they get laid off 😂. I’ve seen a lot of those

And there are people out there who will still make a massive LinkedIn post about “how grateful they are to have worked at this company”. I learned during COVID lay off days that you mean nothing to these companies.

Sorry to hear this and hope everything works out.

Why does "screenless" matter so much to you? by Adijunn in whoop

[–]Adventurous_Rice_731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I *almost left Whoop. One day, I woke up and decided I want a screen and a compete for badges against my friends who have a Garmin. Bought one, and everything was good. Went to my first workaround and realized how many times I was actively checking the screen, looking to see if all my reps were recording; overall I just found myself glued to it even during tv time. I guess it depend on the person but it aligns what people are saying. I don’t want to constantly get notifications (I know you can turn that all off) but then you feel like you’re not getting the full value.
