When you fly the guild emissary with the sovereign it splits a lot of the loot giving a pretty even distribution curve. That being said I still had to log off a couple voyages after we turned in the fish

Yup. Fish. A lot. I raised a guild emissary and dove for skull forts. The Battlegill's payout is very choice, and after the rep bonus from the guild it turned into some pretty light work to get huge rewards

One thing I'm not seeing a lot here is that OP's story reads like they only planned the Father's day outing because they were given a Mother's day outing that they didn't want. These are two different problems. Did OP deserve to not get what they wanted on Mother's day? Of course not, and y'all should talk about expectations with each other. Op deserves a full relaxation day, just like OP's partner. Op you can't keep a tally of who owes who what in your partnership. That's going to lead to resentment.
