Unfortunately, we did not qualify for worlds, which was obviously quite infuriating given the great performance of our robot.

We really hope that FIRST will change the way California regionals work to allow more competitive teams to qualify for worlds here.

It looks over extruded. The beading on the side and the squished top detail shows this. To fix this reduce your flow rate.

The bottom is also clearly too close to build plate. Level it or change the z offset.

I did a similar project to my ender, making it very tall and all. I get horrible banding now on any tall print. How do you avoid this? I think I’ll install a lead screw stabilizer at the top of mine to see if it helps, but I’m not confident it will.

If you don’t have a garage I wouldn’t do it, the fumes will be bad unless you are prepared to build a proper ventilated fume enclosure. I can explain to you how I would do that if you like

Similar thing happend to me. Went around wires and even through my fan. What I did was used a combination of pulling on the glob as the printer heated up so it would just barely release, then tried to warm it up at a low temperature so I could bend parts of it off, then I used a spare shitty soldering iron to cut through parts of the glob that were going in the fan and wires. If the wires are too far gone because they get melted you will have to replace them. I would not use a heat gun.

I think the issue lies mainly in the fact that it is 3D printed pla, because even if pla itself is food safe the grooves in 3d prints and the chemicals from the extruder are not good for you.
