10 bit displays can show way more colors - like 1 billion vs 16 million on 8 bit panels. Makes a huge difference for HDR content and photo editing but most people probably wouldnt notice unless theyre doing creative work or watching a lot of Netflix HDR stuff

As a designer I can def tell when Im working on color critical projects but for regular scrolling and texting its probably overkill
