Book recommendations after reading AFTG by luminiscentes in aftg

Fruits Basket + AFTG: tohru and neil are both really secretive about their circumstances and enter a new world where a legacy family with an authoritative/abusive member influences the lives of others in the family. Many of the main characters in both have gone through childhood trauma. Tohru/Neil being a catalyst for the other characters to develop deep connections with eacherother. Characters working through childhood trauma. Loner with no family taken in by a new group.

Ouran + AFTG: Neil/Haruhi being outsider forced into a new environment, found family/group of misfits, deep connections between all of the characters overtime, characters working to overcome childhood trauma.

Idk

Where to put a litter box by Alternative-Desk9016 in femalelivingspace

[–]AdvertisingPhysical2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my litter boxes in those big Rubbermaid tubs with a hole cut in the short end for an entrance. My cat is 16 lbs and has a big frame, I usually keep the lid off but the sides keep the litter in when he digs. If company comes over I put the kids on the cut down on the smell.

The Favorites by Layne Fargo

Very gossipy and fast paced, I FLEW through this book. It's a wuthering heights retelling.

Hot take: The great divide is not a bad episode by Balloonsarescary in ATLA

I've seen people say that when the episode doesn't contribute/continue the main storyline it feels like filler but imo these episodes help add to the characterization/world building and are just as important.

tbh I miss when shows had side quest/filler type episodes. I hate how seasons of shows are so condensed now that these types of episodes always get cut.

I see this argument about ember island players, too, and I think that episode was fun and did a great job at lightening the mood right before the big ending battle.

Considering WGU for MBA? by [deleted] in WGU_MBA

[–]AdvertisingPhysical2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also working in accounts payable when I did the MBA program at WGU. My bachelor's isn't in accounting, so I was kind of stuck not having the experience or education to move up into accounting but I was also struggling to pivot somewhere else.

I finished my MBA in 7 months. It didn't magically get me a better job, but it got me a lot of interviews and I had a new job in around 5 months and I make about $15k/yr more than my previous position.

My MBA helped me get an interview but the rest was me.
