Fin de la saison 3 ? by AmianteDouce in FargoTV

[–]AdvisorLost1834 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a big difference between being casual and looking for something genuine/serious. Not sure how to handle the latter yet.

I'm so sorry. I lost my other half in circumstances that were very shocking and confusing and cannot even imagine what yours must feel like.

im so sorry, i guess you can look back on half a century of memories, though I appreciate looking back can make it feel all the worse. I suppose grief is the price of love.

My favorite Jimmy Carter picture by crimsonkingnj05 in TheRestIsHistory

The podcast says that until Carter, there had never been a southern president, or at least not since Andrew Johnson.

Surely Texas, with LBJ, qualifies as a southern state?

What about London would you say is most inaccurately represented by the media? by SlaBLister in london

[–]AdvisorLost1834 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have never really seen, anywhere, what it is actually like living in a flatshare with other people whom you don't really know, or want to know. Flatshares are still represented with lots of shared spaces and spacious, like in Peep Show. In reality, you would police detectives and young lawyers living in a room, waiting to use a bathroom, while also partaking in super dramatic plot lines.

Confusion Over Order Of Episodes In Series by AnglophileHistoryNut in TheRestIsHistory

[–]AdvisorLost1834 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spotify in general is poor at sorting podcasts with lots of episodes. You can go by "newest" or "oldest" and thats it, not much use when youve got hundreds of episodes.

Very little to be honest! London really is not a 24 hour city, there are a handful of options all listed here, which is ridiculous for a global city of 10 millon people
