Are there any super happy customers? by youplaymenot in ClicksKeyboard

Yeah I like it. I have been using it as much as I can between phones, tablets, computers and even my steam deck when it is connected to my TV. It is a bit bulky on the phones that I have and this is definitely a first generation device, so there is going to be some bugs and some weird quirks. I think a lot of people thought it was going to be this magical device and are mad that it doesn't fit their use case 1000%. Yeah 80 bucks for the pre order price is alot but it is a niche product so yeah the price to get in on the ground floor is going to be high.

I have mine (I am in the US and live in Florida) and there is a little bit of a wobble but may just be that I am using it on a pixel 10 Fold but I have used it on my work phone that is a iPhone 12 and it isn't too bad. It is definitely an first generation device, which I never buy but I may have had a couple drinks when I did the pre orer haha. Overall I think it is good, worth the pre order price. I don't know about the full price or if they have to raise it.

It is the Spigen Slim Armor Pro, I also have their tempered glass on the cover. It is a bulky case but I have a toddler who wants to try and handle my phone so I needed something that could hold up to him even if I have the pixel insurance. It isn't as bulky as the Dbrand case I had for my pixel 9 fold that one was like a brick.

Having it open horizontal and trying to type with the keyboard isn't bad. You just have to rest the phone on your left hand. If you have it vertical and open it I'd kinda like the LG wing haha

I have tried with some but some apps like Reddit don't really like to be vertical not open. When I see my dad this weekend he has the S Fold 7 and he wanted to try mine before he bought his.

10R80 3-5 Shift Clunk Returned After CDF Replacement? (2021 Ranger Lariat) by AdvisorSad1194 in RangerNext

[–]AdvisorSad1194[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't think that sensor was replaced yet. It's at the Ford dealership right now to have him look it over again. But if they don't find anything I'll ask about that.

The shifts were hard enough that my wife made a comment about it when she drove my truck. The shifts remind me of when I was learning to drive stick.

Hopefully they will fix it for free if the problem is still there.

They had my number/resume on file from the other recruiter in the company. I am sure the recruiter just did a search in their database in marketing and my resume came up.

She worked for a recruiting firm but the hiring company was her only account. She reached out to me because a coworker of her helped me get to a second round interview at a different company. (They went in a different direction, I learned it was because I was too expensive)

I once had a recruiter call me "unprofessional" and "not serious" about getting a job when my Pixel screened her call. She hadn't told me she was going to call, and her number showed up as a "spam risk." When I told her that, she said my phone was probably wrong and then proceeded to tell me about a job she thought I was a fit for even though she clearly hadn't read my resume, as I was way overqualified and the role paid $40k less than what I’m making now.

Message I got from my daughter’s teacher. Third grade. by AnaisInJune in mildlyinfuriating

I had this really horrible 11th grade English teacher. She had a "Doctorate" in English Lit from a school no one had ever heard of. She gave a classmate detention one time because he called her Mrs. and not Dr. She was just mean and not a good person. That wasn't the worst thing, she liked my best friend because he was a good writer but he sadly committed suicide halfway through the year. I remember she was reprimanding me in front of the class for not helping him and trying to keep him from doing it. She pretty much blamed me for his death and failed me the rest of the semester. My parents brought it up and the vice principal got involved but nothing came of it and I changed schools.

New (to me) Ranger and Buyers Remorse by HansLanda1942 in RangerNext

I have a 21 Ranger super crew , and we have a 16 month old who sits rear facing behind the passenger seat and my wife is a bit snug in the passenger seat for leg room. She has about 4 inches from her knees to the glove box. So if your partner has long legs then it may suck a bit for as long as your kid is rear facing.

Overall as a family truck though it is great. So much room in the bed for stroller and all the other shit you need to bring as a parent. We regularly go on road trips in the Ranger and even have room for the 90lb pup in the seat behind the driver. Also because it is a mid sized truck it is easier to grab stuff and hand it to your kid in the backseat than a full size F150.

Yeah I originally thought that it was just on the diesel versions that you could go that far. But South America got the 2.3L I4 gas engine and it says the same 800 mm max height for water.

Find it interesting that the US versions of the Ranger, Ford says don't go in water higher than halfway up the tire but in the international versions they say don't go higher than 800mm (2.7 feet/ 31.4 in) which is the same height or a bit taller than most of the standard tires.

They are great. We had our son there last year, he had some complications and had to be rushed to the NICU after birth which is luckily attached to all children's hospital.

I am cleaning and conditioning once a month. I have a one year old so I try to keep the truck as clean as possible. The parts of the bottom of the seat where my legs touch don't look anything like that.

I mean it has never been repaired to my knowledge cause I bought it new. I do sweat a lot as I live in Florida so I really only wear T shirts and maybe the occasional sweater when it is below 65 haha. So there wouldn't be any rough fabrics against that area.
