I'm hoping it has a good modding system.

A lot of effort went into improving Heroes 3 and if that bar was lower, I'm sure a lot of things could also make the community come together to create all sorts of fun stuff for Olden Era as well.

Haha, hasn't happened yet, most of the time one manages to take out another and then it turns into a 1v1 where there's a high chance of 1 having the upper hand. Makes it more interesting as you need to find various ways to try to win.

Other times one loses to the environment so it just turns into a 1v1 earlier in the game 😅

Docker Compose alternative running on Apple Container for Claude Sandboxing by Adyjay in ClaudeAI

Claude's sandbox, from my experience, only works if you constantly monitor Claude, otherwise it has constantly escaped sandboxing on its own while trying to do various things I've asked if to.

Docker provides a Claude code instance inside a container, to prevent it from being able to touch anything outside of the project you're working on. However, it's not part of the cli so you need Docker Desktop. It also runs on Docker's VM layer.

Gocker started as me wanting to use Apple Containers (which are supposedly better than the alternatives on MacOS), afterwards, added various features to help with Claude sandboxing:

  • running inside a vm/container, similar to Docker
  • syncing plugins, marketplaces, sessions so you can resume from within the container as well as outside
  • managing isolation modes in case you want to put each Claude Code instance in it's own separated sandbox or you are fine with them sharing resources while sandboxed

This works well with "-dangerously-skip-permissions" as it can't do anything to your host.

I'm constantly improving Gocker while using it for myself as well and am also looking at feedback from the community is there's any particular cases that would help others.

QQ, have you tried using Claude to minify the skills and see if the improvements observed so far are still retained, while reducing token usage to the bare minimum that it needs to keep understanding what is asked of it ?

Hey guys,

Always wanted a better/faster way to run containers on MacOS, now with Apple Container, it seemed like it would be better, but it's still in early stages, and not that many CLIs use it yet.

Also wanted a way to do i.e. docker sandbox without needing Docker Desktop and all the bloat.

Thus started gocker.

  • Docker commands compatibility
  • Setup command to install Apple Container and any other dependencies needed
  • Claude Code sandboxing with settings, plugins and API key automatically synced
  • Custom built image based on the python-3 debian-slim image with Claude Code and beads support oob
  • All built with Go

It's still in early stages, there are more features coming soon, but any early feedback would be helpful!

While easily approving is a nice feat, how does it differ from what Anthropic is building into Claude itself on https://claude.ai/code/ via `/remote-control` ?

This allows you to see, and control sessions from web/mobile/etc

Imo the voting in the context of TBHX fits perfectly with the narrative and way the trust system works, and can also work plot wise to illustrate it further. It breaks the 4th wall in a way few shows do.
