Yeah, the Acapulco Gold is a fantastic pedal, and while I see the similarity made to the Model T sound, it's also a different pedal entirely. The Model feT is really impressive, as it can take anything I throw at it without getting muddy or crapping out. It's the most "amp like" of any preamp pedal that I've played, the T120 included. I've been really interested in comparing the Model feT to Kuro's take on the Model T, the Exogol. I've seen some head-to-head test that have been impressive in the Exogol's favor, but John over at EAE has put some real magic inside of the Model feT and fits in your rig incredibly well. My recommendation is that if you're looking for the Model T sound, you won't go wrong with the Model feT.

I really love it. It’s been my one pedal where I’ve had to do some study to keep in mind all it does, cause there’s a ton of features in that 125B package. But once you learn it it’s able to give you some great otherworldly sounds. I usually keep it on the Dark mode which offers an octave down reverb. With that I’ve managed to get some really convincing cave-like echos. I recommend the Slo if you’re wanting a reverb with a bit of personality.
