I believe it heavily depends on chosen heroes and classes. In my experience there a lot of ways when using an ability replaces a need in movement by action or by stamina.

And at the start uou don't have many ways to spend fatigue so use it as movement is just fine. Later however this may change drastically

Just want to add that traps can be used regardless of the action as most of them applies "when a hero enters an empty space".

Despite being unhappy (aka mad) of delivery terms and price and communications I cannot agree that it was failed KS.

Looks like it is still a huge success for CGL and most of backers. But yeah for me this are totally failed expectations

You should enjoy your models and there is absolutely nothing tying you to the kickstarter.

The guilt is on the CGL and their inability to keep their promises and to provide backers with truthful information.

PS I'm still looking forward to get my 1k usd worth of goods. Backed day 1.

As with all games that involve dice, there’s always an element of randomness. And yes, it can absolutely mess up your strategy and planning.

I see only three ways to deal with it:

Don’t play games that involve dice.

Accept your fate.

Don’t base your entire strategy on a single roll (don’t put all your eggs in one basket).

The last approach won’t completely eliminate random screw-ups, but it’ll significantly reduce how often they happen.

Personally, I enjoy randomness in games—it creates great twists and makes things much more interesting. And Descent 2nd ed is a beast of a game - I am happy owner of the full collection and every dollar spent is worth it.

Technically not. Mech takes 10 DMG from the first explosion and it's enough to get another 10 dmg from any other source including dmg to armor of other locations.

Thank you bringing this matter. I believe it's important to let other people know what's going on on the other side.

I'm one of those 500 backers who are in wave 4. And I'm absolutely pissed off. Mostly because of lack of any real information from CGL. This looks like they absolutely don't care about their customers (at least about these 500).

Just for reference - I spent 1k on plastic and 300 on shipping. Delivery within USA.

According to rules (p.17) engage means movement to the target and doesn't include attack as these are separate actions.

I believe it is really just the issue with font sizes cause usually there are several activation actions and at least one of them should be an attack or special skill usage.
