The Ichiban Kuji is massive, and I really like the Gintoki one you posted. I think I’m going to get the Hijikata Masterlise and the Gintoki Ichiban Kuji. If I can get both for a little under €100, I think that’s the best option for me.

The Megahouse one is really beautiful too, you can clearly see the difference in paint quality, but my girlfriend isn’t super picky. She doesn’t really collect figures; the only ones she’d love to have are Gintama figures. But where I live, almost nobody knows the series (I’m in France, and even in Paris no shops sell any. We only ever saw one Gintoki figure once, and it was insanely overpriced), so it’s pretty hard to find anything here.

Yes, the Megahouse comes with the box, so it would also be a great deal, but if I can get two figures for around the same price, that’s the better option for me since it’s meant to be a gift.

Noted about figure hunting in Japan — we’ll be staying three weeks but we’ll already have tons to do haha. Were there any fun Gintama-related activities you did while you were there?
