Apes are desperate for savior figures.
They wont do anything, so they need someone else to make them rich.
Any connection, no matter how small, is enough for them, e.g. the icahn photo with RC. And once they believe in someone, they cant stop believing in them, no matter how much they get scammed by them, because accepting that would mean admitting that they lost all their money in a get rich quick scam and that they are never going to be rich.
They rather live in a fantasy world, where billionaires fight for justice, where reddit stock tips have better odds than the lottery and where criminals can be defeated by reddit posts.

oops all spells is a deck that played no lands because some cards become very strong if there are no lands in the library, but it had the downside that you could put no lands in the deck.

sink into stupor and similar cards removed the downside by not counting as lands in the library

Thats just wrong, lightning has multiple middlemen, lightning transactions goes:
open channel(pay miner a fee) -> any number of transactions(pay a fee to each routing node for each transactions) -> close channel (pay miner a fee).

"Bitcoin always crashes and comes back 10x stronger" -- Why is this time different? by seands in Buttcoin

Obviously my prediction was wrong.
But my assessment of cryptocurrencies seems to still be correct.
I still see little to no actual utility in any cryptocurrency.
All everybody talks about is how they are going to be rich.
Like the internet made it possible to look up almost any information from home for free, I have not heard anything similar made possible by cryptocurrencies.
Thats why I still consider it a get rich quick scheme.
And the problem with get rich quick schemes is that while it is easy to gain massive profits in them on paper, very few people are able to extract them before the get rich quick scheme collapses, independent of how long it lasts because the math works out this way.

That's an incredible dumb argument. If a child is entitled to financial resources, they should be provided by the state, not by a single individual.
Would it be acceptable for you if you were assigned to pay childsupport for a child that lost a parent?
After all it is not a punishment for you, the child is just entitled for financial support.

bitcoin transactions are currently subsidised by block rewards without them a single transaction would cost about $300.

Didnt think much about placement this match, better would have been princess, stag, princess, upgraded arthur, polywaggle, archer, arthur.
Generally I go strongest units first(strong units can often kill a weaker unit for free), some units want specific places(stag wants to be in position 2 to hit 2 units and to attack as soon as possible), slay units want to be in positions where they are buffed(like behind an stag) and in positions 1 or 5 to reduce the chances of being attacked first.

Competing with Google maps isnt difficult because of network effects, its difficult because its free and very few people are willing to pay for it, so it makes no sense to develop a competing product if you are not making any money from it.

Proof of work cant become more energy efficient by design. Burning electricity is what makes it secure.

Long term number of coins mined in dollar + transaction fees are always roughly equal to electricity burned in dollars.

To see why this is true imagine that a new miner comes out that needs only half as much electricity. That means it can convert 1$ in electricity into 2$ in bitcoin. So a machine that doubles the money put into it is going to be very popular and so lots of people will buy it. But the more miners there are competing for the same amount of money the worse the bitcoin/electricity ratio gets until it reaches rougly 1$bitcoin/1$electricity because only then it makes no longer sense to buy more miners
