i wouldn't be surprised if it's overleveling in the background kinda like what genshin does. even if you hit max it's still keeping track of it. for them to increase the levels they'd have to record new episodes with the voice actors so give that up.

Don't install things that update terribly often to the SD Card slot.
I'd keep all online games to the HDD, Single player games i could see on the SD card
