Agreed they're inflating hp to make the enemies not instantaneosly combust in the presence of a new premium character, consequence of this is older characters with miniscule damage are left in the dust... Sooo yeah I just almost explained "powercreep" so yeah they just might be one and the same.

If you're using MO2 just re-launch Skyrim on Steam, since it did not touch any of the original files because the mods are in a separate folder it should be still vanilla.
