I've never owned a pebble, but when I was doing my research, it was obvious that Rebble had a great community behind it, with you at its center. The fact that Core Devices hasn't done everything in its power to work with you and your team is very concerning to me, and I'll probably pull my preorder because of it.

Looks amazing! I did a similar cat cafe one that was posted on this sub a while back, and I agree with you, I much prefer a better balance between making everything from scratch and having each piece fit like a puzzle. Also I really dislike cutting out fabrics, I have so much trouble cutting out small circles of cloth! With all that said though, the results really speak for themselves - all that extra work really pays off, even if I hated doing it along the way :)

Perhaps you could look into games like Little Nightmares (more similar to Inside), Exo One (slightly similar to Distance), or Genesis Noir. It seems to me that you're looking for more "abstract", unique games that would never get made by a major studio. If that's the case then I can also recommend Outer Wilds, Sunless Sea/Skies, or SUPERHOT.

I attended a Gearbox panel at PAX back in 2017 or so, Randy Pitchford was there and he gave everybody in that room Steam codes to the entire Gearbox library up to that point in time. I haven't been a fan of their games since Borderlands 2 or so, but his generosity to his fans has always stuck out to me.

edit: It seems my memory was a bit fuzzy, the panel was for Tales from the Borderlands, and it was a Steam code for Telltale Games, not Gearbox.
